Backordering Your Monitored Domains
If you added monitoring to a domain, you can place a backorder on it that will attempt to register the domain for you if it becomes available.
NOTE: If another one of our customers already backordered the domain, we cannot place another backorder.
To Backorder a Monitored Domain
- Log in to your Account Manager.
- In the My Products section, click Domain Manager.
- From the Buy/Sell menu, select Backorders and Monitoring.
- Use the checkbox(es) to select the domain name(s) you want to modify.
- Click Upgrade to Backorder.
- Select one of the following:
- Public
- Places a public backorder on the domain. If the domain becomes available, we will attempt to register it for you
- Private
- Places a private backorder on the domain. If the domain becomes available, we attempt to privately register it for you.
- Click Next.
- If necessary, edit your contact information.
- Click Next.
- Click OK.
