Changing Calendar Settings

You can set preferences to customize the behavior and appearance of your Calendar.

To Change Calendar Settings

1. Log in to your Calendar account.
2. On the navigation bar, click Settings.
3. Click the Calendar Settings tab. From the Calendar Settings tab, you can make the following changes:
   
   

   Set Time and Date Format

   Time Format

   Select a 12 hour or a 24 hour calendar display.

   Date Format

   Select an option for displaying dates on your calendar.

   Current Time Zone

   Select the time zone you want to use. (You can add time zones to your current time zones options by selecting them from the Add Time Zones list.)

   Set Calendar Format

   Day Start and Day End

   Select the start time and end time for your calendar.

   Show Completed as Recent

   Specify the number of days you want to show events and tasks for.

   Start Week On

   Select a day to display as the beginning of your week.

   Theme

   Select a color theme for your calendar display.

   Show Resource Calendars

   Allow users to view a resource calendar by selecting it from the Quick Navigation list.

   Preferred Default View

   Select the calendar view you want to see when you log on to your account.

   Set Default Options for Invitations

   Send Invitations to Attendees

   Specify a frequency for sending invitations to attendees.

   Notify Attendees When Uninvited

   Specify a frequency for notifying attendees that they were uninvited from an event.

   Notify Attendees of Event Updates

   Specify a frequency for notifying attendees of event changes.

   "Automatically Allow Attendees to Invite Other Users"

   Set "Allow Attendees to Invite Other Users" as default when you schedule an event.

   Set Default Options for Reminders

   Send me a Reminder

   Set the default value for reminding users of an event, and then specify the number of minutes, hours, days, or weeks before the event to send the reminder.

   Send Reminders to

   Set the email address event reminders are sent to by typing the email address.

   Format event reminders for text messaging

   Send the reminder as a text message to your cell phone.

   Other Settings

   Number of Events

   From the menu, select the number of events you want to view above your calendar.

   Emergency Save

   Automatically save changes.

   Show Quick Events

   Display your next events above your calendar.

   Show Quick Tasks

   Display your next tasks above your calendar.

4. Click OK to save your settings.
