Using the Image Library

WebSite Tonight includes an image library. The image library allows you to select from hundreds of images that you can add to your Web page, or upload your own files to the image library. Supported image types are .jpg, .gif, .png, .bmp, .jpe, .jfif, and .dib.

To Navigate Through the Image Library

1. From the Design menu, click Page Designer .
2. If necessary, from the You are editing list, select the page you want to edit.
3. Click the block you want to add the image to.
4. Position your cursor where you want to add your image.
5. Go to the Insert tab, and then select Image.
6. Go to one of the following tabs:

   Image Library

   Select an image from WebSite Tonight's extensive image library.

   My Images

   Select an image that you uploaded to WebSite Tonight. These images are stored in the My Images tab.

   Upload Image

   Upload an image to the WebSite Tonight Image Library. Your images are kept separate from the image library that is included with WebSite Tonight. Your images are only available to you.

To Select an Image from the Image Library

1. From the Design menu, click Page Designer .
2. If necessary, from the You are editing list, select the page you want to edit.
3. Click the block you want to add the image to.
4. Position your cursor where you want to add your image.
5. Go to the Insert tab, and then select Image.
6. Enter search terms in the Search field. Search terms are words that describe the type of image you are looking for. For instance, if you are looking for an image of a boy playing football, you enter: boy, football. Separate search terms with a comma.
7. If necessary, you can select an image size by clicking small, medium, or large.
8. To view images on another page, from the Page list, select the page number.
9. To view images on the next page, click the right arrow button.
10. Select the image you want to insert.
11. Click OK.

    Note: You can manually edit the image size from the edit content window by grabbing a corner of the image and dragging it it to the preferred size.

To Select an Image From My Images

1. From the Design menu, click Page Designer .
2. If necessary, from the You are editing list, select the page you want to edit.
3. Click the block you want to add the image to.
4. Position your cursor where you want to add your image.
5. Go to the Insert tab, and then select Image.
6. Go to the My Images tab.
7. In the sort by list, you can select how the images display. You can select the following:

   Name

   Sorts images by name

   Date

   Sorts images by date

   Type

   Sorts images by file type

   Size

   Sorts images by file size

8. To view images on another page, from the Page list, select the page number.
9. To view images on the next page, click the right arrow button.
10. Select the image you want to insert.
11. Click OK.

To Upload an Image to the Image Library

1. From the Design menu, click Page Designer .
2. If necessary, from the You are editing list, select the page you want to edit.
3. Click the block you want to add the image to.
4. Position your cursor where you want to add your image.
5. Go to the Insert tab, and then select Image.
6. Go to the Upload Image tab.
7. Click the Browse button to locate and open the file.
8. Click Upload Images. The image is added to the My Images tab.
9. Click Cancel to exit the upload process or click OK to insert the image in your content block.
