Why are my buttons and headings showing up as red X's?

When buttons or headings become corrupt within WebSite Complete, it is necessary to rebuild them.

To Rebuild Buttons and Headings in WebSite Complete

  1. Open your project in WebSite Complete.
  2. Right-click on the button area or the heading area.
  3. Select Rebuild All Navigation or Rebuild All Headings.
  4. To confirm that all the buttons/headers will be returned to the template original, click YES.

After the program has finished restoring your original buttons, you can customize them in any way you choose. Once this has been done, republish your site for your changes to take effect.

You are not charged a publishing fee for any changes made to a published site.
