Publishing Your Site with WebSite Complete

**Please note: This answer pertains to version 4.0.5.3 and later.**
Publishing your WebSite Complete Web site is a two step process.
- First, you must acquire a hosting account.
- Second, you must then publish your Web site to your hosting account.
To Acquire a Hosting Account
To publish your new Web site to the Internet, you need to have a hosting account. A hosting account is space on a server that is connected directly to the Internet. This space serves as a home for the Web site and allows visitors to your site to see the pages you have created.
- Click on the Final Steps tab within WebSite Complete.
- Click the first Start button across the top and then click New.This opens the Web site Registration wizard.
- Click Click here to Connect to the Internet.
- If you purchased the professional version of the software, enter one of your discount IDs. Otherwise, click Continue. Follow the instructions for setting up a new hosting account.
NOTE: With WebSite Complete, you can only publish to a hosting account that already has a WebSite Complete account on it. You can't publish to a new hosting account, or an account that has not previously contained WebSite Complete.
To Publish Your Web Site to Your Hosting Account
- Click on the Final Steps tab within WebSite Complete.
- Click the first Start button across the top.
- Click on the hosting account that you would like to use with your site.
- Click Publish.
- Enter your hosting account password and click OK.
