What Type of Organization Can Request a Premium Extended Validation (EV)  Certificate?

There are two types of organizations who can request Premium Extended Validation (EV) certificates:

1. Corporate - Any incorporated or limited liability company which is legally registered in the United States and verified with a registered status of "Good Standing," "Active" or equivalent.
2. Business Entity - A legally recognized registered entity such as a Professional Corporation (PC), organization by registered charter, Limited Partnership (LP), Limited Liability Partnership (LLP) or registered "Doing Business As" (DBA) names which is legally registered in the U.S. and verified with a registered status of "Good Standing," "Active" or equivalent.
